The women's march is a march where millions of women around the world protest human rights and issues including women's rights, LGBTQ rights, racial equality, freedom of religion, and many more. Even though this march was mainly for women's rights, it still touched on other problems in the world which was very good. I feel like this march was very good to promote the problem of sexual harassment and why it needs to stop.                                     The main cause of the women's march was to promote the things that a lot of women would have to go through when dealing with sexual harassment. Men around the world (mostly men in power) have been harassing women to get what they want for decades now and I think that it is very good for women to stand up for their rights and protest this wrongdoing done by many men. As we all know by now, Donald Trump is not a very liked person. The things he says and does upset people all the time. So it should come to no surprise that a lady has stuck up the middle finger to him while he passed by her in his motorcade. This lady has since been fired from her job because of her actions. Was she in the wrong for sticking up the middle finger or was she just expressing her feelings and opinions about the president.                    50-year-old,  Julia Briskman was biking in Sterling, Virginia when she was passed by President Donald Trump when he was on his way to play some golf. Briskman said on her bike ride that she was thinking about the devastation in Peurto Rico, the immigration crisis, and the horrific things that happened in Las Vegas. We all know the soda company Pepsi, it's a company that is known around the world and it has a lot of eyes viewing them. Pepsi is known for their advertisements as well,  like the Michael Jackson commercial or most recently the Kendall Jenner commercial. This Kendall Jenner commercial has made many people mad, especially people from the group known as Black Lives Matter. Where did Pepsi go wrong in this ad and why did it make so many people angry? In this ad, there was a peaceful protest going on while Kendall Jenner was doing a photo shoot. As she saw the protest going on, she felt that it was the right thing to leave her photo shoot and join this protest. Pepsi did not say or show what this protest was about, but it seemed like a good and peaceful one. When Halloween comes around, people of all ages go out and buy costumes. These costumes could be ghosts, vampires, Batman, etc. But is it too far when a person dresses up as a whole race? Or is it just another Halloween costume?                                                                                                              For years now, different cultures like Aboriginals, Mexicans, Asians, and Black people have been complaining about costumes and how they appropriate their own culture. I see the reason why people would get mad at these types of costumes, these costumes are making fun of a certain culture and taking a whole race of people as a joke. A while back, Dove released an ad where they were advertising their skin cleanser. People got caught off guard when a black woman was wearing a nude t-shirt and when she took that shirt off, she became a white woman. People accused Dove to be racist in this ad because they think that dove is telling people that being white is better than black. Could they be telling the truth or are they reaching? As you can see in this picture, a black woman is taking off her shirt and becoming a white woman. Most people look at this ad and automatically think this ad is racist. But when I actually took the time and actually looked at the original ad, they were actually more than two females in the ad. After the white woman took off a shirt, a South Asian woman appeared after and then the ad concluded. As everyone is probably already aware former San Fransico 49er, Colin Kaepernick has caused a lot of controversy by taking a knee during the American national anthem. Kaepernick taking a knee has split up North America in half, one side that's with Kaepernick and the other side who's against Kaepernick. This action caused so much disturbance that President Donald Trump had many comments on this.
